About Me

Biography

I'm MK Anisko, Mariusz Krzysztof Aniśko. I was born in Poland in 1980 and now call London, United Kingdom, my home and artistic base. In 2014, I earned my M.F.A. degree. My artworks have found homes in private collections across numerous countries worldwide. Beyond art, I'm also a performing musician, notably playing guitar for bands like What About Chad and Krzyż Kross.

Artist Statement

In my artwork, I strive to transcend reality and delve into the profound layers of imagination. The freedom afforded by fine art enables me to explore boundless possibilities without limitations. Drawing inspiration from various facets of my life, I amalgamate musical influences, literary narratives, advancements in technology, and the time-honored painting techniques of the Old Masters to shape my artistic style. In particular, I am captivated by the integration of technology and the concept of trans-humanism, which have become increasingly prominent in our modern era. These elements play a pivotal role in my contemplation and creative expression.
