BIOGRAPHY

Mariusz Krzysztof Aniśko (b. 1980, Poland), known professionally as MK Anisko, is a London-based visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice bridges traditional techniques with contemporary themes. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Easel Painting, awarded in 2014, and his work is represented in private collections internationally.

Anisko’s work synthesizes a wide array of influences—from the formal precision of the Old Masters to the disruptive aesthetics of music, literature, and emerging technologies. Central to his practice is an ongoing exploration of transhumanism and the evolving interface between humanity and innovation. Through this lens, he constructs visually arresting and conceptually layered compositions that invite reflection on perception, identity, and transformation in the digital age.

In parallel with his visual art, Anisko is an active musician, performing as a guitarist in bands including What About Chad and Krzyż Kross, and producing solo musical works. This dual engagement with sound and image informs the rhythm, intensity, and emotional resonance of his visual output.
